Job Description
Job Purpose: To Provide overall leadership to processes related to accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments Key Accountabilities: Strategic Activities To Provide overall leadership to processes related to accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments Build efficient systems and processes for accounts payable with a view of delivering value to both internal and external stakeholders Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable processes. Implement best practices and automation solutions to enhance productivity and reduce manual tasks Develop sufficient mitigating measures and controls to reduce any financial risk and exposure identified Accounts Payable Direct and oversee the accounts payable, execution of monthly revenue close, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with GAAP Implement and monitor internal controls in all accounts payable processes & manage ageing analysis and exception handling Leading teams that Review and understand customer contract terms and ensure proper accounting treatment of for the same Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory compliances and provide all the necessary entries at the time of closure of books Lead the team responsible for accurate, complete, and timely billing & collections with closure of all related audit issues & support Support in development of payment processes and policies to ensure that internal controls are in place Drive the payments processing operations with necessary verification and authorization to ensure that all payments and bill/ claim settlements are done accurately and timely manner to avoid risks for the organization Team Management Set the functional goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of the same to the reporting departments and guide their achievement Provide direction and advice to the direct reports in performing their delegated responsibilities Oversee the overall performance of direct reports and ensure KPI’s are well communicated and monitored. Experience and Qualification Experienced required 8 to 14 years Qualification required - CA qualified or MBA from tier 1 or 2 college.
