Senior Manager - Data Security

Experience - 15-17 years. Only Mumbai based candidates. Job Summary: Lead / Senior – Data Security : We are seeking a seasoned and visionary professional to take on the role of Lead / Senior – Data Security.

This individual will spearhead efforts to protect sensitive organizational data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and implementing cutting-edge security protocols. The role demands a deep understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Flow Analysis (DFA), Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), data lifecycle management, and Information Rights Management (IRM). The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of information assets, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of security within the organization.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead the organization's comprehensive data security strategy and roadmap. Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programs to mitigate risks of unauthorized data exposure. Conduct Data Flow Analysis (DFA) to map and monitor sensitive data movement across systems.

Oversee Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) processes to ensure real-time protection and detection of potential threats. Manage the data lifecycle from creation through storage, usage, sharing, and destruction, ensuring robust security measures at every stage. Integrate Information Rights Management (IRM) solutions to control and safeguard access to sensitive data.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and privacy laws, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant frameworks. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to promote best practices in data security and awareness. Perform regular assessments, audits, and incident response planning to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred. Proven experience in data security or cybersecurity. Must have worked on structured and non-structure data.

Hands on experience on Data protection, data flow analysis and Data encryption. In-depth knowledge of DLP, DFA, DAM, data lifecycle management, and IRM technologies and methodologies. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies.
