THE BIG PICTURE
Egnyte is looking for a Senior Manager of Field Marketing to lead our Horizontal go‑to‑market efforts. This team handles the vital 30% of our business that sits outside our industry verticals (Architecture, Engineering & Construction, Financial Services & Life Sciences).
RESPONSIBILITIES

Horizontal Strategy and Execution
- Finding the right focus – work with Sales, Product Marketing, and Leadership to identify which specific industries to double down on and transition from a catch‑all approach to a targeted strategy.
- Running the plan – pick the right trade shows, host Egnyte events, and work directly with Sales to turn event conversations into a measurable pipeline.
- Working with the Channel – partner with our Channel team to leverage our partner network and expand reach.

Centralized Planning "The Glue"
- Fixing the process – lead the centralized planning rhythm, create shared calendar and playbooks to synchronize all activities.
- Event‑in‑a‑Box – develop standardized frameworks the whole team can use to keep quality consistent.

Driving Growth through Tech Levers
- Lead implementation of tools such as Splash, Cvent, Outreach, and iCapture, ensuring they are used as levers to drive better engagement and faster lead follow‑up.

Team Leadership and Budget
- Managing and Mentoring – lead a team of two: a Field Marketing Manager focused on horizontal strategy and the tech rollout, and a Virtual Event Lead who runs the virtual event engine for the entire company.
- Budget Ownership – oversee a significant budget, ensure forecasting accuracy, and prove return on investment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8–10+ years in Field Marketing with experience managing a team.
- Hub mentality – excels at centralized planning and integrating multiple moving parts.
- Systems mindset – builds templates or workflows to organize chaotic processes.
- Practical with Tech – comfortable with Salesforce, event platforms, Outreach and other tools.
- Excellent communication – can discuss strategy with senior leaders and also execute on the ground.
- Results‑focused – familiarity with pipeline sourced, cost per opportunity, and conversion velocity.
COMPENSATION
Our compensation reflects labor costs across multiple U.S. geographic locations and varies by market. The standard base pay range across the U.S. is $xxxk–$xxxk annually. Pay varies by location and may also depend on skills, knowledge, and experience. During the interview, recruiters will provide more information.
