Day to Day
You will obsess over how information is leveraged by ensuring Enterprise Search serves as a shared context layer and unified foundation that enables employees to reliably find knowledge, history, and ownership across fragmented systems. In this role, you will validate internal friction points, manage our strategic vendor relationship, and partner closely with IT Engineering and Architects to optimize data connectors, ranking, and integration into the enterprise architecture using modern standards such as APIs and MCP.
You will also define indexing and ranking patterns that improve signal while maintaining a strict, permission‑aware framework so employees only access what they are authorized to view.
As this foundation matures, you will drive the shift from finding information to enabling work to be completed on an employee’s behalf through AI and agents, grounded in a complete and permission‑aware enterprise context. You will drive a roadmap that balances fundamentals like speed, accuracy, and coverage with a longer‑term transition to AI‑driven automation, while implementing unified search interfaces and personalized knowledge feeds across tools such as Slack, Jira, and Drive.
You will research friction‑heavy internal journeys, translate insights into platform improvements, define and track success metrics such as search health and business impact, and influence the vendor ecosystem toward greater extensibility and agentic workflows.
Responsibilities
Oversee strategy and roadmap for one or more product areas, including intake, backlog, business case, and user stories.
Prioritize initiatives and maintain clarity on what work is most important.
Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Work closely with capability owners and development teams to maintain a healthy backlog.
Use data to guide decisions and measure impact.
Summarize and present complex information, issues, processes, and options clearly to leadership, team members, and other groups.
Skills and Competencies
Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years relevant experience, 14 years of relevant experience, or equivalent in education and experience.
Core experience: product management in collaboration or workflow automation with measured outcomes.
Proven results: demonstrated delivery of measurable value and improved outcomes across multiple launches.
Technical fluency: working knowledge of platform workflow building blocks (e.g., triggers, actions, bots) and artificial intelligence products (large language model digests, AI‑ranked notifications, conversational workflows).
Leadership: influence architects and executives; improve product development life cycle practices.
Adaptability: thrive amid ambiguity; adjust plans quickly; keep teams focused on outcomes.
Salary Range Transparency
Tier 1 - United States of America 150,000 - 224,000 USD per year
Tier 2 - United States of America 166,000 - 250,000 USD per year
Tier 3 - United States of America 182,000 - 274,000 USD per year
Tier 5 - United States of America 207,000 - 311,000 USD per year
