The firm has built a strong regional reputation for craftsmanship, responsiveness, and dependable project execution across a range of commercial and industrial markets.Position SummaryThis GC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Senior PM will serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is well-suited for a construction professional ready to take on greater project ownership and mentorship responsibilities within a growing, entrepreneurial GC.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn full project lifecycle management for construction projects, from preconstruction planning through final closeout and warrantyDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans; proactively identify and mitigate risksLead subcontractor buyout, negotiate contracts, and manage subcontractor performance and relationshipsServe as primary client-facing representative, maintaining strong owner and architect relationships throughout the projectReview and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentationCollaborate closely with superintendents and field staff to ensure alignment between office planning and field executionMonitor project financials, including cost forecasting, billing, and margin managementEnsure compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, and applicable building codesMentor and support project engineers and assistant project managersParticipate in business development efforts and client relationship building as opportunities ariseQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)7+ years of progressive project management experience with a general contractor.
