Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineering Manager to drive the strategic execution and delivery of enterprise platform technology, ensure alignment with business objectives, seamless integration, compliance with regulations, and operational excellence. Our Impact Enterprise Business Technology Office (EBTO) supports multiple verticals by crafting and creating solutions to a variety of technology challenges. This support includes delivering automation solutions by building and enhancing software applications using Business Process Management and Low Code Application Platforms required for Internal Audit, Legal and various other divisions at Freddie Mac.

Your Impact As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead the evolution of our Corporate Communications and Marketing technology solutions—leading the delivery of technology roadmap items involving web content platform management, infrastructure, tools aligned to goals of the business supporting both internal platforms for employee communication and external-facing technologies required to manage content and communications delivery for Freddie Mac. What you will be doing Execute technology strategy and roadmap for the enterprise platform, aligning with business, marketing, and employee communication goals.
Manage delivery of infrastructure updates and application enhancements. Lead architecture and technical implementation of personalization, content management, and regulatory compliance related artifacts (TCPA, CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, CCPA). Oversee platform integration with enterprise tools.
Ensure operational excellence and vendor management for platform reliability and deliverability. Qualifications 10+ years related experience and 2+ years management experience and people leadership experience in developing a vibrant and highly talented engineering team is a MUST. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Advanced studies/degree preferred. Leadership experience with enterprise-grade web content management platforms (Acquia, SiteCorp or similar frameworks). Expertise in managing landscape of tools related to knowledge management and content tools (e.g., Drupal).
Strong background in data integration for personalized communications. Technical knowledge of communication channels, deliverability, and compliance. Experience collaborating with business leaders in marketing, HR, legal, and compliance teams.
Ability to manage dependencies with vendors or internal engineering teams for software delivery. Keys to Success in this Role Excellent communication skills and ability to lead teams of motivated software engineers. Solid experience influencing business outcomes by working directly with business users and team members.

This position has an annualized market‑based salary range of $168,000 - $252,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant. #J-18808-Ljbffr
