? We’re Hiring: Senior Structural Engineer? Location: Bandung

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Structural Engineer, located in Bandung. Responsibilities include performing structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety and compliance, as well as designing structural systems that meet project requirements. The role requires collaboration with civil engineering teams and the use of computer-aided design (SolidWork) tools to create precise engineering plans.

The Senior Structural Engineer will also provide guidance to junior team members and ensure designs adhere to project specifications and timelines.

QualificationsRequired Experience:Minimum 5 – 10 years of experience in steel structure detailing/fabrication.Preference will be given to those with experience working with towers, transmission lines, or utility structures.Experience leading a team of detailers and handling drawing revisions/QC.Familiar with international standards (AISC, ASCE, ANSI/TIA, NESC)Experience as a structural engineer is preferredStructural analysis capabilities load calculation (wind load, dead load, live Load)Ready to be placed in BandungFluent In English

Required Skills:Strong understanding of steel profiles/structural elements (angles, channels, plates, pipes/tubes, etc.).Knowledge of Structural connections (gusset plates, splice plates, base plates).Proficiency Bolt and hole detailing (size, spacing, clearance, and position).Basic knowledge of welding details (connection types and work access space requirements).Understanding of Bracing and tower framing systems (element arrangement and structural logic).Ability to produce Shop drawings/fabrication drawings.Experience preparing BOM/cut list/bill of materials.Understanding of Workshop assembly sequence (fit-up and assembly sequence).Ability to ensure Field installation feasibility (buildable/erectable)Ability to lead and mentor detailers/drafers Experience Perform QC on drawingsResponsible for design approval processes Ability to review and sign-off drawings/calculationsExperience coordinating with clients and utility stakeholders
