Job Description
A career as a Senior Analyst on the Subsidiary Accounting team means acting as a specialist in the accounting and regulatory activities of National Bank subsidiaries, including those in Japan and Paris. You will be the person responsible for establishing the key processes of the new subsidiary in Japan to support its implementation and day-to-day operations. Through your experience, accounting knowledge, and rigor in report preparation (financial statements and others), you will have a positive impact on the experience of your partners, colleagues, and management.
Your job Perform month-end accounting activities Analyze and interpret financial data, explain variances, and ensure corrective actions are taken Monitor and control accounting and financial transactions and ensure their compliance with current standards and procedures Act as the main point of contact for all accounting questions related to these subsidiaries Prepare quarterly and/or annual financial statements and coordinate the annual audit with subsidiary management Support the development, implementation, monitoring, and control of systems, tools, and work processes, and make recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and the quality of financial information Participate in and/or manage projects involving these subsidiaries Your team Within the Finance sector, you are part of a team of 8 colleagues and report to the Director of Subsidiary Accounting. This position will allow you to develop and grow by giving you, among other things, the opportunity to acquire knowledge related to the Bank’s international activities in capital markets. You will join a dynamic team in which everyone collaborates strongly to achieve a common goal.
