A DAY IN THE LIFE
People Management Responsibilities
- Develop, coach, and manage a small team of Talent Acquisition Managers, providing day‑to‑day support, feedback, and accountability to ensure strong individual and team performance
- Work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition to support team strategy, hiring prioritization, recruiter development, and execution against broader business goals
- Serve as an additional resource to Talent Acquisition Managers on process questions, candidate strategy, and stakeholder communication, helping to elevate overall team effectiveness
- Manage special projects and contribute to broader talent acquisition initiatives that support team and business goals, as assigned by the Director of Talent Acquisition
Recruiting Responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle recruiting across assigned offices, regions, and divisions, including sourcing passive talent, phone screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and guiding candidates through the interview and offer process
- Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers through transparency, responsiveness, and consistent follow‑through
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs while fostering ongoing relationships with prospective candidates
- Manage job requisition creation, postings, and marketing efforts for assigned roles
- Coordinate with the Onboarding team to ensure all background check requirements are complete before transitioning candidates to the HR team
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- 5‑10+ years of full life cycle recruiting for construction, engineering or architecture required
- 2‑5 years of people management within a recruiting function
- Experience using recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, and/or Metaview
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, iCIMS or another applicant tracking system
