Senior Test Engineer

A well-established defense and commercial electronics test equipment company in Irvine is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to design test hardware and full test program sets for programs spanning military and commercial applications. This is a hands‑on role: you’ll own schematic‑level circuit design (analog and digital), build Interface Test Adapters, and develop the software logic that drives test execution – working with instrumentation like oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.

What you’ll need:

• BSEE or equivalent
• Solid understanding of analog and digital electronic circuits
• 3+ years designing circuits with Altium, OrCAD, or Cadence
• Comfort with standard test instrumentation

Nice to have:

• experience with MIL-STD-1553/1760
• Windows-based test development tools (ATEasy, LabVIEW, LabWindows)
• prior technical leadership experience

This is a growth‑oriented team building out additional leadership layers, so there’s real room to advance for the right person. On‑site in Irvine, CA; limited travel may be required.
