Job Description
Job Title: Senior Vice President of Development Mixed Use
Location: On Site - Atlanta, Georgia, United States
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of mixed‑use development projects, from market research and site acquisition to design, construction, and property management.
- Develop project proformas, conduct financial feasibility analyses, and oversee due diligence processes for new developments.
- Source and structure capital, secure project financing, negotiate deals, and ensure timely closings.
- Direct internal development teams, coordinate with legal advisors, and manage third‑party consultants to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare monthly project reports, monitor each phase of construction, and ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Build strong business relationships and represent the company in the pursuit of new development and investment opportunities.
- Provide leadership, strategic direction, and supervision to the development team for assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with national and local commercial real estate standards, legal regulations, and health and safety requirements.
Must‑Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- At least 10 years of experience in commercial real estate development, finance analysis, or a related field.
- Proven expertise managing development and construction of mixed‑use, office, hotel, and multi‑family projects.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, market analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, project management, planning, and analytical skills.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Knowledge of project approval and permitting processes within the Atlanta market and other key U.S. regions.
- Established network of relationships in real estate development and investment submarkets.
- Experience overseeing or collaborating on property management activities post‑development.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to interact confidently with executive management and external partners.
