Job Description
Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Interior Architect with hands on experience in corporate interiors to join our dynamic team. The Interior Architect will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of interior spaces in both large scale corporate fit-out projects. You will work closely with clients, project managers and contractors to develop functional, aesthetic, and innovative interiors that meet the specific needs of the project.
Key Responsibilities: Concept Development: Collaborate with clients and design teams to understand the vision, goals, and requirements for interior spaces. Develop initial design concepts and mood boards that align with the client's needs and project goals. Space Planning & Layouts: Create functional and aesthetically pleasing interior layouts, ensuring the efficient use of space.
Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, and co-ordinate with 3D visualization team for interior spaces. Integrate architectural elements with furniture, fixtures, and finishes to create a cohesive design. Material & Finish Selection: Research and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the overall design vision and budget.
Source and select appropriate materials, fabrics, and finishes that contribute to the aesthetic and functional goals of the project. Project Coordination: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are executed properly. Oversee the interior design process from concept through to final installation and completion.
Monitor and review project budgets, timelines, and progress to ensure designs are delivered within the project scope. Client Interaction: Regularly communicate with clients to present designs, updates, and revisions. Understand and incorporate feedback into designs to meet client satisfaction.
Provide guidance to clients regarding design options, finishes, and materials. Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure designs adhere to building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements. Incorporate sustainable design principles into interior spaces, selecting eco-friendly materials and design strategies.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed design documents, specifications, and presentations for clients, contractors, and suppliers. Maintain accurate project records, including design revisions, budgets, and schedules. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior architecture or a similar field specifically related to corporate interiors. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, and interior design principles.
Creative & Design Skills: Exceptional spatial and design thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail. Strong visual and conceptual skills, with the ability to communicate design ideas clearly. Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and client management. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members. Ability to present and justify design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Knowledge of Codes & Regulations: Familiarity with local, national, and international building codes, regulations, and sustainability guidelines (e.g., LEED certification). Work Environment: Office-based with regular site visits during the design and construction phases. Occasional travel may be required for project meetings or site inspections.
