Service Delivery Manager

The Role

As Service Delivery Manager, you will lead 5 Factor Technology’s technical team while remaining close to the work. This hands‑on supervisory role combines people leadership, client relationship management, service governance, technical troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. You will help deliver responsive, cost‑effective technology management services and represent the company as a trusted partner to clients.

• Lead and develop technical staff in alignment with the company’s purpose, vision, and Success Factors.
• Build strong client relationships and help ensure an exceptional service experience.
• Support strategic initiatives through innovative technology and a stable, secure technology platform.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and technical assistance, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
• Drive service governance, internal accountability, and clear external reporting.
• Promote professional growth, training, collaboration, and sustainable work practices across the team.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a practical, people‑focused technology leader who communicates clearly, listens actively, and follows through. You are comfortable setting direction, coaching others, solving technical problems, and creating an environment where team members can learn and succeed. You lead by example, take ownership of outcomes, and bring integrity, curiosity, and a strong service mindset to every interaction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an ABET/EAC‑accredited program, or equivalent qualifications; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Seven or more years of experience leading or directing a technology team.
• Demonstrated supervisory and people‑leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant information technology certification preferred; Microsoft Azure certification is a plus.
• Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands‑on service delivery and technical support.
