Job Summary
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Visual Manager is responsible for creating a dynamic shopping environment that incorporates fashion trend statements, visual presentations and promotional events to support the sale of full‑priced merchandise and overall profitability of the store.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement placement, standards of execution, and guideline directives for displays, fixtures, signing, marketing, lighting, wall presentations and assets.
- Achieve brand consistency and enhancements by supporting corporate branding initiatives such as in‑store campaigns and window displays.
- Take a leadership role in communication, direction and flow challenges within the store.
- Create visual impact to generate customer excitement and interest according to company guidelines.
- Perform ad‑hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- 2‑4 year degree in Fashion Merchandising and/or Fine Arts (preferred).
- 5+ years of related visual experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
- Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds, climb ladders, operate equipment safely, and work with substances such as paint and glue gun.
- Experience in event planning, art exhibition or installation (a plus).
- Portfolio or examples of previous work samples required.
- Strong people‑leading skills: building morale, setting objectives, measuring progress, and driving results.
- Creative problem‑solving mindset and openness to change.
Salary
Salary Range: $78,007 – $97,509*
