Position Description
CGI is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to lead thedevelopment, and support of enterprise SharePoint solutions within a Microsoft 365 environment. This role is heavily focused on building and enhancing SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server applications, developing custom functionality with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and automating business processes using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will modernize legacy SharePoint environments, develop secure integrations with enterprise systems, establish governance best practices, and ensure the platform delivers scalable, high performing collaboration solutions.
Success in this role requires the ability to independently evaluate technical approaches, translate business requirements into well designed SharePoint solutions, and deliver production ready applications that support business operations.

This role is located at a client site in either Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Columbia, SC or Birmingham, AL. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- . 5+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server
- . Strong expertise building custom components using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- . Demonstrated experience independently developing and implementing SharePoint based business solutions in Microsoft 365 environments.
- . Experience managing SharePoint site collections, communication sites, team sites, document libraries, lists, metadata, and content types
- . Hands on experience creating automated business processes using Power Automate
- . Experience developing business applications with Power Apps that integrate with SharePoint data
- . Strong knowledge of SharePoint permissions, security groups, governance, compliance, retention policies, and Microsoft 365 administration
- . Experience developing SharePoint integrations using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and enterprise data sources
- . Strong SQL skills supporting SharePoint reporting, integrations, and backend data requirements
- . Experience supporting SharePoint migrations, modernization efforts, and transitions from classic to modern SharePoint experiences
- . Ability to troubleshoot complex SharePoint performance issues, identify root causes, and optimize platform performance
- . Experience documenting SharePoint architecture, solution designs, operational procedures, and technical configurations
- . Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies and the SharePoint ecosystem
- . Experience translating business requirements into scalable SharePoint solutions with minimal supervision
- . Familiarity with Power BI and Tableau Cloud for dashboarding and analytics
- . Exposure to Appian Cloud or other low code/no code platforms is considered a plus
- . Ability to independently recommend the most appropriate Microsoft technologies to solve complex business problems while producing high quality, maintainable code
Desired Skillset
Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Power Platform are highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $97,300.00 $156,700.00.
