Job Description
Role – SharePoint Developer Location – Atlanta, GA Work Mode – Hybrid
The SharePoint Developer will apply current technologies and methods to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint Foundation based applications. Responsibilities include managing site content and capabilities, daily maintenance of existing applications, testing, review, analysis, and implementation. Familiarity with standard SharePoint concepts, practices, and procedures is required.
The role works with DOR business stakeholders daily.
Primary Responsibilities
- Working with COTS software that is SharePoint based requiring back-end SharePoint coding and front-end configurations.
- Develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs, conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performing software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debugging, testing, and deploying software solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Foundation and front-end application configurations.
- Troubleshooting software issues.
- Implementation of SharePoint Foundation-based workflows.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Develop proof of concept examples.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience programming SharePoint with SharePoint Designer. Other .NET coding (C#, VB.NET) desired.
- 5+ years’ experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands‑on development, and delivery of web‑based applications.
- Certification(s) in Microsoft SharePoint Development.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error‑free deliverables.
- Must be motivated, independent, and self‑sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline desired.
- Familiarity using Lanteria HR Software is desired.

- Individuals selected for employment with DOR must clear a criminal background check (includes fingerprinting).
- Individuals selected for employment with DOR must complete a tax check and remain compliant with Georgia tax obligations.
- This will be a hybrid work schedule of teleworking and in‑office days.
- Candidate must be local to Atlanta/Metro Atlanta.
