Site Engineer / Quality Engineer (Coslada)

Overview

We are seeking a Site Quality Engineer based in Madrid, with the ability to spend long periods abroad on site.

As a Site Quality Engineer you will implement and monitor the quality management system at a project or construction site, provide proactive quality support, and ensure client and quality requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement small project‑wide system audits and quality plans.
• Report progress and manage inquiries/issues with Client quality representatives.
• Promote a quality culture, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement of standards and systems.
• Participate actively in risk assessment workshops.
• Assist in defining project objectives, metrics (KPI), analyze performance, and propose corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in investigations to resolve quality issues.
• Facilitate feedback processes throughout construction and help develop site procedures, QCPs, and ITPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience as a QA/QC Specialist.
• Experience setting up quality systems on site (procedures, ITPs, contract follow‑up, KPIs, reporting).
• Fluent in English (minimum C1).
• Knowledge or experience in Regulatory Compliance, especially in Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or Blue & Green energy projects.
• Master’s degree in a Quality‑related field is a plus.
• Desirable: familiarity with Project Certification Plant and EU Directives such as PED, Welding, NDT, ATEX, etc.
