Site Reliability Engineer

About This Role

Increase reliability and reduce toil across services. Build automation that keeps systems healthy and observable.

Requirements

• 5+ years in SRE or production engineering
• Strong Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Kubernetes operations including autoscaling and upgrades
• Observability with metrics logs and traces
• Capacity planning and load testing with k6 or Locust
• Incident management and blameless postmortems
• Experience with chaos testing and fault injection
• Programming in Go or Python
• Runbooks and production readiness reviews
• Disaster recovery plans and multi AZ failover
• Familiarity with SLAs SLIs and SLOs

Responsibilities

• Define and track service level objectives
• Automate runbooks and reduce mean time to recovery
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis
• Optimize infra costs without trading reliability
• Partner with teams on production readiness
• Improve on call health and alert quality
