Our team relies heavily on QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Lacerte Tax Preparation software to deliver accurate, timely, and high‐quality work. We are looking for a Skilled Tax Preparer / Accountant who can confidently manage tax preparation and accounting tasks while providing excellent client service. What You’ll DoTax PreparationPrepare tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, S‐Corps, Partnerships, and LLCsUse Lacerte Tax Preparation software to complete and review returnsAssist with IRS and state notice responsesProvide clear explanations and tax planning recommendations to clientsMaintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with deadlinesBonus: Experience with Non‐Profit, Estate, or Trust returns Accounting & Client SupportPerform reconciliations and maintain accurate books using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks OnlinePrepare monthly and year‐end financial statementsAssist with payroll, sales tax filings, and general complianceReview financials for accuracy and completenessSupport clients with bookkeeping questions and workflow improvements Qualifications5+ years of experience in tax preparation and accountingStrong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and LacerteEA or CTEC‐Registered Tax Preparer preferredAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlines independentlyStrong communication and client‐service skillsSpanish bilingual ability is a plus BenefitsCompetitive rate: $62,000–$80,000/year (DOE)Health insurancePerformance bonuses (Tax Season & Holiday)401(k) with employer matchPaid vacation, sick time, and holidaysSupportive, stable work environment with long-term growth potential ScheduleMonday–Friday, in-office (Covina, CA)Overtime and weekend availability during tax season Join a Firm That Values Your SkillsIf you’re looking for a long‐term role where your tax and accounting expertise is appreciated, we’d love to meet you.
