Concrete Mason / Concrete Finisher (Residential New Construction)

Location: Southwest Florida (Sarasota/Manatee + surrounding areas)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20$25/hr (based on experience) + overtime as available

Schedule: MonFri, occasional Saturdays as needed

About the role

Were hiring Concrete Masons/Finishers with residential construction experience to support our growing workload. Youll be working on active job sites doing quality concrete work, staying productive, and helping the crew hit schedule.

Responsibilities

Form, pour, place, and finish concrete for residential new constructionSet forms, stakes, string lines, and help ensure proper grade/slopePlace rebar/mesh and assist with embeds as neededFinish concrete (screed, bull float, edge, trowel, broom finish)Cut control joints and assist with curing/protectionStrip forms and handle patching/touch-ups and punch list itemsMaintain a clean, safe job site and take care of tools/equipment

Requirements

Minimum 1 year concrete experience (residential construction preferred)Able to use basic hand tools and read a tape measureStrong work ethic, dependable, and able to work with a crewAble to work outdoors in Florida conditions and lift 50+ lbsReliable transportation to and from work (must be able to get to job sites)

Nice to have (not required)

Flatwork experience (slabs/driveways/sidewalks)Formwork experience (footers/stem walls/curbs)Bilingual (English/Spanish)
