About the Role We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL development, Data Warehousing, and Data Integration. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, handling production support activities, incident management, and implementing enhancements through structured change management processes.
Location: Chennai, India (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Rotational Shifts (including Night Shifts) Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Support business-critical applications by resolving P1/P2/P3/P4 incidents within SLA timelines.
Communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders regarding issue impact, root cause, and resolution. Follow ITSM Incident Management and Change Management processes. Gather business requirements and create functional requirement documentation.
Perform manual unit testing and integration testing for new enhancements. Ensure compliance with SOX and organizational governance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments.
Participate in rotational support shifts, including night shifts when required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech). 5–7+ years of experience in Data Integration and Data Warehousing. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake. Strong expertise in SQL scripting and Stored Procedures.
Good understanding of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts. Experience supporting production environments and managing incidents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with SnapLogic, IBM DataStage, SSIS, or Talend. Knowledge of cloud-based data integration platforms. Experience working directly with business stakeholders and clients.
