About the RoleWe are looking for a creative, culturally tuned-in Social Media Manager to own Meolaa's presence across platforms. You will be the voice of our brands online - building communities, driving engagement, and turning scroll-stoppers into brand believers. This is not a scheduling role. We want someone who understands what makes content travel, what makes a brand feel real, and how to build an audience that actually cares. What You'll Own & Own the content calendar across platforms - Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channelsBrief and collaborate with designers, videographers, and influencers to produce thumb-stopping contentWrite sharp, on-brand copy for posts, reels, stories, and campaignsDevelop platform-native content strategies - what works on Instagram is not what works on YouTubeStay ahead of trends, formats, and cultural moments - and move fast on them & Own community management - respond to comments, DMs, and mentions with the brand's voiceBuild and nurture a loyal brand community across platformsIdentify and engage with brand advocates, micro-influencers, and UGC creatorsMonitor sentiment and surface consumer insights back to the brand team & Lead social media execution for product launches, festive campaigns, and brand momentsCoordinate with performance and brand teams to ensure social content supports wider campaign goalsBuild and execute influencer collaboration briefs - from outreach to content sign-offOwn social commerce - shoppable content, live commerce, and platform-native shopping features & Own social media dashboards - reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performanceReport weekly and monthly with clear insights - what landed, what didn't, and whyUse data to iterate and improve - not just to report on the pastTrack competitor social activity and flag opportunities and risks Who You Are3-6 years of experience in social media management, preferably for a D2C or consumer brandDeep understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms - you live on these appsStrong copywriting skills - you can write a caption that makes someone stop and feel somethingCreative eye - you can brief a designer as confidently as you can spot a bad visualCulturally aware and trend-savvy - you know what's about to be relevant before it isData-literate - you know your reach from your impressions and your saves from your sharesPrior experience in beauty, fragrance, lifestyle, or personal care is a strong plusHigh ownership, fast mover, low ego
