Social Worker | Casual | Inpatient BHU - Hillsdale Hospital (Hiring Immediately)

Overview Work Schedule: Determined by need - generally 1.5 to 3 hours at a time including on Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 2 weekends per month. Responsibilities Attending treatment team meetings Providing group psychotherapy

Qualifications Graduation from an accredited master’s degree program, school of social work and/or school of counseling One year of full-time experience as a clinical social worker preferred A minimum of six months of experience in a psychiatric setting preferred

Experience to include individual, group, and family therapy Experience in writing psychosocial assessments and treatment plans preferred Knowledge of the principles and practices of social work and/or counseling required

Adherence to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and/or counseling equivalent is necessary Effective communication in relation to medical and other staff, both verbally and in writing Must obtain Certified Social Worker (CSW) or equivalent, from the State of Michigan within two years
