DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team. As DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the health, observability, and maintainability of our production environment, as well as the auxiliary components that support our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in observability, cloud-native technologies, system administration, network and storage management, and programming.
Day in the Life: In general, the following responsibilities apply to the DevOps Engineer role. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Understand of distributed systems, containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and microservices observability patterns.
- Experience implementing Terraform and GitOps practices to enable scalable, reliable, and automated infrastructure delivery.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, metrics collection, distributed tracing, and alerting across cloud-native applications.
- Troubleshooting production incidents, participating in blameless post-mortems, and ensuring thorough follow-up actions.
- Working under general direction and in close collaboration with internal and external partners across various geographies.
- Experience with Integrate observability tools into CI/CD pipelines to enable proactive detection and incident response.
- Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews, driving reliability improvements across the platform.
Qualifications Must Have - Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. A minimum of 0 - 3 years of hands‑on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in an equivalent role. Must have Skills: Experience with the lifecycle management of the observability platform (Elastic Cloud, Dynatrace, Prometheus, & more).
Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, etc.) and Streaming framework (Kafka etc.). Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and integration. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ensuring that environments are up and running by monitoring availability and performance through a holistic view of system health. Gathering and analyzing metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in identifying issues and performing root cause analysis for highly impactful incidents.
