About the role We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to contribute to quality engineering initiatives across backend, web, and mobile platforms. This role focuses on test platform development, performance engineering, CI/CD integration, and driving automation at scale.
You will play a key role in building robust test frameworks, improving system reliability, and enabling fast, high-quality releases. What You Will Do Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests for backend, web, and mobile applications. Contribute to existing automation frameworks and engineering-quality tooling while following established standards and best practices.
Use AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to improve productivity, test coverage, debugging, and automation development. Partner closely with product managers, developers, designers, and QEs to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. Own automation coverage for assigned features and services.
Build and maintain API, UI, integration, and end-to-end automated tests. Participate in test planning, risk assessment, and release validation activities. Investigate automation failures, production issues, and quality gaps using logs, monitoring, and debugging tools.
Contribute to CI/CD-based automation execution and continuous validation pipelines. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and engineering improvements. Contribute to improving automation reliability, maintainability, and test effectiveness.
Share knowledge with team members and actively participate in engineering and quality discussions. What You Will Need 2–5 years of experience in software testing, automation, or quality engineering roles. Strong programming fundamentals in at least one modern programming language.
Experience working with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, REST Assured, or similar tools. Experience with API testing and automation. Familiarity with web and/or mobile test automation.
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar. Experience using version control systems such as Git. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and modern engineering practices. Familiarity with logs, monitoring, and observability tools. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Curiosity to learn new technologies, engineering practices, AI-assisted workflows, and automation techniques. Good To Have Exposure to performance testing tools such as K6, JMeter, or Gatling. Experience with Android/iOS automation, and using cloud device testing platforms such as BrowserStack, TestMu, or similar device labs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD or containerized environments. Understanding of security testing fundamentals.
