Software Engineer

Job Description Job Description Description: OBJECTIVE: The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software applications that support Kids Empire's operations and enhance the customer experience. This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, develop, test, and deploy web and mobile applications. • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service to develop business solutions. • Maintain and improve POS systems, payment integrations, and eCommerce tools. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues. • Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices. • Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with data privacy standards. • Recommend technology improvements and support ongoing system enhancements. TECHNICAL SKILLS • Proficiency in C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages. • Experience with web frameworks (React, .NET, Angular, Node.js, etc.). • Knowledge of SQL databases, REST APIs, and Git. • Understanding of Agile development and software development life cycle (SDLC). • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is preferred. • Thrives in cross-functional settings, comfortable with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Eager to own impactful projects and work closely with leadership • Values clarity, consistency, and having full ownership of key data projects Location & Timezone • Must be based in the US or in a US-friendly time zone Requirements:
