Software Engineer, Principal Java

About the role: As a Principal Software Engineer, you will beinvolved in all phases of developmentlifecycle. You should be knowledgeable in object-oriented development and engineering best practices. Whatyou’llbe doing: Design and develop software applications, project prototypes, proofs of concept & client demos Evaluate performance of critical application components andoptimizethem to assure maximum performance and scalability Assistin driving the development effort for End-to-End on-time deliveryof high-quality solutionsthat conform to feature requirements Work closely withthe productmanagement, program management, and other team members to coordinate schedules,identifytaskassignmentsand provide progress updates at daily standup meetings Perform, design and code reviews for all key application functional components Provide critical thinking, technical innovation and attention to detail when serving as a trusted advisor on your team Keep up to date on the latest technical developments in your area Ensure compliance with Web standards and accessibility requirements.

Ensurerobust high quality code standards aremaintainedin the development process. Participate in all Scrum team ceremonies. Whatwe'llwant you to have: 10or more years of experience in designing and developing applicationsin Java Experience with common web technologies – JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, CSS, and HTML Experience with Tomcat, Linux, and Jenkins Understanding ofsoftware engineering best practices and object-oriented development Experience working with RESTful services and APIs Familiarity with Git and continuous integration systems.
