Software Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 150,000 per year

• We are looking for a software engineer with 4 to 10 years of professional experience in C# application development.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Strong command of C# and the .NET Framework or .NET Core in a Windows-based environment is expected.
• Experience building responsive, reusable, and maintainable interfaces with React.js or comparable frameworks is required.
• Hands-on knowledge of React.js, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3 is necessary.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core or Web API is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL programming is expected.
• Practical experience with Git or another version control system, including branching, merging, and collaboration workflows, is required.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and core software engineering principles is expected.
• Ability to diagnose, debug, and resolve issues in both development and production environments is required.
• Experience providing direct technical support to customers and resolving software-related problems is preferred.
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team is required.
• We require candidates to pass a law enforcement background check due to the nature of our work.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This is an onsite role in Poway, CA, and commuting to the location is required.
• Relocation assistance is not offered.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is a plus.
• Experience with networked systems and protocols is advantageous.
• Familiarity with image processing is desirable.

• We design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• We build responsive, reusable, and maintainable user interfaces with React.js.
• We write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects.
• We troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production settings.
• We manage source code with Git, including branching, merging, and version control practices.
• We develop and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end applications and third-party services as needed.
• We look for opportunities to improve software performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• We create and maintain clear technical documentation for our solutions.
• We work closely with QA to support testing and ensure our software meets quality standards.
• We provide direct technical support to customers and help resolve software-related issues when required.
