Role Description The Solar Project Leader - Chennai, is a full-time role responsible for leading residential solar installations from planning to completion. This position requires system design and engineering, coordinating procurement and installation activities, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with relevant standards. The role involves managing project schedules and budgets, guiding on-site teams and contractors, and resolving technical or operational issues during execution.

The Solar Project Leader will also interact with customers to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth commissioning and handover of systems. The role is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of solar power systems, with hands-on experience in residential solar installations.
• Knowledge of the solar industry and power generation, including current technologies, standards, and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in residential solar, project management, site coordination, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and vendors.
• Proficiency with basic project tracking tools (e.g., MS Excel, project management software) and reporting.
• Fluency in Tamil and English
