Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, notably abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at each turn
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately document procedures and manage patient records through our electronic medical record system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
