Special Education Teacher

Location: Aldie, Leesburg, Sterling, Ashburn & South Riding, VA
Job Type: Contract (40–45 Weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7.5-hour shifts (Between 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay: $30–$43/hour (Based on experience)

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to support students in ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education), Cross-Categorical, and Autism classrooms across multiple school locations in Virginia.

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Provide specialized instruction based on students' individual learning needs.

• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to support student success.

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families.

• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation.

• Implement positive behavior support and effective classroom management.

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.

• Valid Virginia Special Education teaching license or eligibility for licensure.

• Experience working with students in Grades 2–5 preferred.

• Experience in ECSE, Cross-Categorical, Autism, or similar Special Education settings is a plus.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

• Competitive Pay: $30–$43/hour

• Long-Term Contract (40–45 Weeks)
