Position Overview 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Erection Engineer with strong expertise in the installation, electrical erection, testing, and commissioning of Diesel Generator (DG) Sets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in executing DG projects at customer sites and managing electrical installation activities from project initiation through successful commissioning. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Execute electrical erection activities for Diesel Generator (DG) Set projects. 

• Supervise installation and commissioning of DG Sets at customer sites. 

• Coordinate electrical installation of AMF Panels, Synchronization Panels, LT Panels, PCC Panels, and associated electrical systems. 

• Execute cable laying, cable termination, earthing, and interconnection activities. 

• Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, and layout plans. 

• Perform pre-commissioning checks, testing, synchronization, and final commissioning of DG Sets. 

• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, customer, consultant, and contractor teams for smooth project execution. 

• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. 

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within planned schedules. 

• Prepare installation reports, commissioning reports, and project documentation. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues encountered during erection and commissioning. 

Desired Candidate Profile 

• 8–10 years of experience in electrical erection, installation, and commissioning of DG Sets/Gensets. 

• Hands-on experience in executing industrial or commercial DG projects. 

• Strong knowledge of AMF Panels, Synchronization Panels, LT Panels, PCC Panels, cable laying, cable termination, and earthing. 

• Ability to understand electrical drawings, SLDs, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams. 

• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams. 

• Good understanding of electrical safety practices and project execution standards. 

• Willingness to travel to project sites as per business requirements.
