Overview

Positions are located in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York and follow a hybrid work model to support collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Participates in the discussion and implementation around complex capabilities.
- Develops complex features and capabilities to enhance the Early Warning core product offerings.
- Manages source code using Git.
- Reviews and approves pull requests to maintain high code quality.
- Processes real-time stream data and file-based data through ETL frameworks and persists data into the data store.
- Builds data aggregations to provision data for AI/ML models and to customers.
- Documents complex details and decisions in Confluence.
- Builds automated tests alongside sprint work that are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline, considering environment variables and making recommendations.
- Able to troubleshoot complex bugs that may arise during development.
- Supports the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer science engineering, computer information systems, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years direct experience in software engineering or related experience.
- Proficient with Git source control and Git flow branching model.
- Big data framework experience is required.
- Proficient in ETL/ELT.
- Experience with Spark/Scala.
- Experience with Kafka.
- Proficient with SQL.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with writing automated tests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with migrations from on-prem to Cloud.
- Experience with Python or Java.
- Expertise in building highly scalable, high-performance solutions for large-scale data processing.
- NoSQL experience (Redis, HBASE, AeroSpike, etc.).
- FinTech experience is highly beneficial.
Physical Requirements
Working conditions are a normal office environment. This role is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer. May require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.
Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment, including computers. Must be able to communicate with internal and external customers.
Ability to perform essential functions and physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay scale for this position varies by location. For example:
Phoenix, AZ: $118,000 – $152,000 per year. San Francisco, CA: $142,000 – $183,000 per year. In addition, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits. This pay scale is subject to change and is not a guarantee of compensation, which depends on job offer factors and individual qualifications.
