Staff Full Stack Web Developer (Django / React) – 12-Month Contract (Cork)
A world-renowned Semiconductor Giant is hiring a Staff Full Stack Web Developer to join their Open Source Engineering team on a 12-month Contract.
In this role, you will help design and build full-stack web applications, microservices, and automation workflows that streamline open-source software compliance and IP protection across global engineering teams. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, legal teams, and IT to integrate engineering tools, automate compliance processes, and maintain critical systems in a Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications and microservices.
- Build automations and workflows to optimise internal open-source compliance processes.
- Integrate web services with engineering tools and SCM environments.
- Perform administration, scripting, and troubleshooting within a UNIX/Linux environment.
- Work directly with end-users, legal teams, and compliance specialists to capture requirements and resolve technical issues.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8–12+ years of relevant software development experience, with a solid grounding in the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong expertise in Django and React frameworks.
- Proven experience building applications with Celery and RabbitMQ.
- Solid background in PL/SQL (experience with PostgreSQL is a distinct advantage).
- Proficiency in shell scripting, app development, and troubleshooting in UNIX/Linux environments.
- Practical knowledge of frontend technologies (Next.js, Vue.js, CSS), containerisation (Docker), and version control (Git/Perforce) are big pluses.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech) in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
