Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust? Shaston ward, based at Westminster Memorial Hospital, Shaftesbury are looking for either an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team. As a Staff Nurse you will work alongside a multi‑disciplinary team in a 15‑bedbed ward that provides sub‑acute medical care, rehabilitation and palliative/end‑of‑life care for the local and wider community. The Elderly Rehabilitation and End‑of‑Life Care unit is a nationally recognised Gold Standard Framework award holder. Responsibilities You will need enthusiasm and a commitment to provide the highest standards of care to patients, relatives and carers, and the ability to provide professional clinical leadership. You will need an interest in working with older people and good communication and organisational skills. Shift Patterns Early – 07:30 – 15:30 Late – 12:30 – 20:30 Long Days – 07:30 – 20:30 Nights – 20:15 – 07:45 Weekend and public holidays at enhanced pay The Staff Nurse post is full‑time but part‑time applications (minimum 15 hours) will be considered.
