Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An immediate opportunity is available for a contract pharmacist to support a growing digital/mail order pharmacy focused on dispensing non-insurance medications. This role is essential as the pharmacy expands fulfillment services for a new client, resulting in increased prescription volume needing agile and dedicated pharmacy professionals.Located in Ft Mitchell, KY, this position requires a pharmacist licensed in Kentucky (Cincinnati, OH pharmacists with KY licensure are encouraged to apply).
The role entails full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment, including verifying prescriptions and supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and timely delivery of generic, brand, and specialty medications to patients across all 50 states and DC.Schedule/Hours:Monday to Friday2 PM to 10 PM shiftKey Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive dispensing and verification of prescriptionsOversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operationsAdapt swiftly to evolving workflows and fluctuating volume demandsCollaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment to meet performance goalsDesired Experience and Qualifications:Active pharmacy license in KentuckyProven experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings preferred for success in this roleStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace while maintaining accuracy and complianceThis contract placement starts ASAP and lasts approximately 13 weeks, offering an engaging challenge for pharmacists who excel in high-pressure environments and seek a role that makes a direct impact on patient medication fulfillment across the nation.
