Job Summary
We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer with experience in US-based residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves structural design, analysis, and preparation of calculations and drawings for masonry, RCC, timber, and steel structures. The candidate should have a strong understanding of structural behavior under lateral loads and be familiar with relevant design software and US codes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural design and analysis for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and construction drawings.Design masonry, RCC, timber/wood, and steel structures as per applicable codes and standards.Coordinate with drafting teams and project stakeholders to ensure accurate project delivery.Review and optimize structural designs for safety, efficiency, and compliance.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience in structural design and drafting of American masonry, RCC, wooden, and steel structures.Experience working on residential and commercial projects (mandatory); industrial project experience is preferred.Exposure to projects in states such as California, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, etc.Strong understanding of structural behavior under lateral loads (wind and seismic forces).Ability to interpret and apply US building codes and standards.
