Job Title: Student Recruitment Intern Application Closing Date: Monday, 20 July 2026 This full-time, fixed-term internship (12 months, until 31 August 2027) is available to recent Loughborough University graduates or current undergraduate students undertaking a placement year. The role is hybrid, combining on-campus and remote work. Role Overview The Student Recruitment Intern will represent Loughborough University at schools and colleges nationwide, raising awareness of the university among prospective students, including those from disadvantaged and widening-participation backgrounds.
The role requires out-of-office hours work (weekends, evenings) and travel across the UK. Key Responsibilities Represent the university at events in schools and colleges across the country Raise awareness of Loughborough University in the external marketplace Engage with a wide range of potential students, including disadvantaged groups Support the School and College Liaison team in outreach activities Organise and plan events and activities to promote the university Qualifications & Skills Student or recent graduate from Loughborough University (undergraduate program completed within the last two years or current undergraduate student) Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and plan effectively for events Confident, engaging communicator comfortable speaking with prospective students, teachers and parents Positive and proactive with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and contributing to team projects Approachable and supportive, able to build strong connections with people from diverse backgrounds Flexible, dependable, willing to travel and support events outside standard working hours Full UK Driving Licence required Reasonable Adjustments We consider reasonable adjustments that candidates may need during the recruitment process and on the job.
