Subject Matter Expert - Chemistry

Role: Subject Matter Expert (Chemistry)Purpose:Responsible for developing, reviewing, and enhancing Chemistry curriculum content aligned with educational standards and board requirements. Ensure high-quality learning experiences, scientific accuracy, instructional effectiveness, and curriculum alignment. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review Chemistry curriculum content, lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and digital learning resources.Align curriculum content with CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge, and State Board guidelines.Design engaging, learner-centric, and competency-based learning experiences.Create teaching aids, practical activities, experiments, and ICT-enabled resources.Ensure curriculum accuracy, conceptual clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness.Identify and resolve content gaps, errors, and inconsistencies.Support development of formative, summative, and competency-based assessments.Collaborate with educators, curriculum developers, and cross-functional stakeholders.Conduct research on current trends and best practices in Chemistry education and curriculum design.Ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Preferred Experience:Experience working with CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge, or State Board curriculaExperience in EdTech, publishing, or K-12 academic content developmentFamiliarity with competency-based education and NEP-aligned curriculum frameworks

Experience & QualificationsMaster's Degree in ChemistryB.Ed. mandatory8-12 years of experience in: Teaching Chemistry, Curriculum Development & Academic Content Creation
