Substation Design Engineering Professionals (Primary, Secondary & Vendor Engineering)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

We are hiring experienced professionals for multiple positions within Substation Design Engineering across Primary Design, Secondary Design, and Vendor Engineering functions.

Open Positions

✅ Design Engineer – Primary Substation (3–7 Years)

✅ Design Lead – Secondary Substation (7–10 Years)

✅ Design Lead – Vendor Engineering (5+ Years)

Key Responsibilities

Primary Design Engineering

Design and engineering of AIS/GIS substations and power distribution systems.

Preparation of substation layouts, equipment layouts, earthing and lightning protection systems.

Cable routing, switchyard layout, and electrical design calculations.

Review vendor documents, BOMs, and technical specifications.

Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Secondary Design Engineering

Development of protection and control schemes for substations.

Preparation of control schematics, relay coordination studies, wiring diagrams, and AC/DC schematics.

Design and integration of SCADA and automation systems.

Preparation and review of engineering deliverables, BOMs, and technical documents.

Support project execution teams with technical clarifications and issue resolution.

Vendor Engineering

Review and approval of vendor/manufacturer drawings and technical documents.

Coordination with vendors for drawing submissions, approvals, and compliance requirements.

Technical evaluation of substation equipment and vendor offers.

Review equipment layouts and ensure constructability and compliance.

Support installation and commissioning teams with engineering expertise.

Hands-on knowledge of batteries, chargers, UPS systems, transformers, and cable sizing.
