Responsibilities
Manage the preparation and review of monthly parent company consolidated financial statements.
Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings.
Identify and implement best practices for GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Manage the monthly close process and review of lower-level reporting consolidations.
Perform research to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Assist with annual audit and quarterly reviews.
Manage the preparation and review of joint venture quarterly and annual reports.
Manage and perform special projects as assigned.
Required Education / Minimum Level
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA designation required; MBA preferred.
Experience
Eight years of relevant industry or public accounting experience.
Prior supervisory experience.
Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Problem‑solving skills with an ability to recognize issues and address them directly.
Personable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude with effective communication skills.
Excellent organization skills and work habits.
Sense of initiative with a desire to become truly involved in the business.
Flexibility with an ability to work in a team setting supporting several people.
Software Knowledge
Microsoft Office applications.
SAP and BPC knowledge preferred.
Wdesk knowledge preferred.
Working Conditions The work environment is typically normal office conditions. The employee will remain stationary 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
