Supply Chain Administrator

6 Month Fixed-Term Contract – Starting ASAP

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Location: Wakefield

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a leading manufacturing business in the search for a Supply Chain Administrator to join their planning team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive supply chain professional to gain experience within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Create and maintain daily production schedules to ensure customer requirements are met
\n
• Coordinate material and production planning activities to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
\n
• Monitor schedules, stock levels and production performance, making adjustments where required.
\n
• Manage rework plans and support inventory control processes
\n
• Liaise closely with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Quality, Technical and IT teams.
\n
• Support production trials, clean-down schedules and continuous improvement activities.
\n
• Maintain accurate planning data and reporting through scheduling systems and spreadsheets.
\n

About You

\n
• Previous experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment is essential.
\n
• Experience of production scheduling, planning or supply chain administration.
\n
• Good understanding of MRP, inventory management and production planning processes.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
\n
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and proficient IT skills, including Excel.
\n
