Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSupply Chain SpecialistKey DetailsLocation: Sunnyvale, CA 94089Work Arrangement: 100% onsiteEmployment Type: 6‐month W2 contractPay Rate: $23 - $26/hourWork Authorization: Not open to H‐1B, 1099, or C2CAbout the RoleThe Supply Chain Specialist will support the planning, procurement, and management of semiconductor and memory components for sustaining high‐technology networking products. This role is responsible for maintaining supply continuity in a fast‐paced, highly complex environment by monitoring supply health, managing inventory, and resolving material constraints.The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‐oriented, and experienced in component‐level supply chains. This individual will collaborate closely with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and cross‐functional internal teams to mitigate risk, optimize inventory, and improve overall supply chain performance through data‐driven decision making.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute fulfillment strategies across suppliers, distributors, logistics providers, and manufacturing partnersManage inventory planning and control strategies to optimize supply availability and improve inventory turnsMonitor supply health and material availability; identify risks and implement mitigation plansResolve component shortages through coordination with procurement, suppliers, engineering, and operations teamsSupport supplier collaboration and co‐planning activities, including reporting and dashboard developmentOwn supply chain reporting, including shortage updates, metrics, and executive‐level summariesExecute procurement activities such as purchase order management, lead‐time tracking, and supplier follow‐upAnalyze complex data sets to identify trends, forecast risks, and support strategic decisionsContribute to cost‐reduction initiatives and continuous process improvement effortsQualificationsStrong experience in supply chain operations, materials management, demand planning, or procurementAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysisSolid understanding of component‐level supply chains within a high‐technology environmentProven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‐functionallyStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience managing semiconductor or memory componentsFamiliarity with ERP or MRP systems such as SAP or OracleBackground in networking, server, or hardware manufacturing environmentsDemonstrated experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
