Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (Bilingual)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Salary: $70,000-$75,000
Position Status: Existing vacancy
Location: Ottawa, ON / Gatineau, QC
Work Model: Hybrid - 4 days per week onsite, 1 day work from home

Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a key role in driving full-cycle recruitment across the organization. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with a supportive manager while taking pride in delivering a strong candidate experience and hiring top talent across diverse functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from intake and workforce planning to offer negotiation and onboarding
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience
- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, define role requirements, and guide the interview process
- Manage an internal client portfolio, building strong relationships and trust across teams
- Source candidates using social media platforms, networking, and ATS tools
- Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Evaluate candidates and provide recommendations based on skills, experience, and team fit
- Lead and support campus recruitment initiatives
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics and performance indicators
- Leverage creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in competitive markets
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to recruit across multiple functions, with a strong focus on IT and Finance roles
- Comfortable hiring across all levels, from entry-level to senior leadership positions
- Hands‑on experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes in fast‑paced environments
- Strong relationship‑building skills with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and executives
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of recruitment experience in an agency or corporate environment
- Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience working closely with hiring managers and representing an employer brand in the Ottawa/Gatineau market
- Strong knowledge of social media sourcing, online recruitment tools, HRIS, and applicant tracking systems
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
