Base pay range
$115,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Lead Advisor, LLC is a wealth management focused consulting and search firm. This role is for our client, a wealth management firm/ RIA in New York who is growing their TAX division.
This role is ONSITE.
Candidates must have 5 years of experience and at least an ENROLLED AGENT designation.
Responsibilities
- Provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to high net-worth and Family Office clients
- Review and file a variety of tax returns—including but not limited to Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120‑S—ensuring accuracy and timely submission to the appropriate tax authorities
- Signer of tax returns where deemed appropriate by Tax Directors
- Participate in client meetings to address tax related inquiries and provide strategic recommendations, with support from senior tax leadership as needed
- Collaborate with advisors and internal teams to ensure comprehensive compliance with federal and state tax regulations • Identify tax planning opportunities and assist in implementing strategies under the direction of senior team members
- Conduct research on complex federal and state tax issues and prepare clear, well documented responses to client questions
- Provide limited mentoring and guidance to junior staff on tax engagements
- Continue to sharpen technical tax skills through ongoing learning and exposure to complex tax matters
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a public accounting firm or an RIA, serving in a Tax Senior Associate/Senior Accountant or Tax Manager position
- Requires at least an EA designation, with an Active CPA or JD certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related fields.
- Exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of the tax issues facing individuals while also having knowledge of S‑corps, Trusts, Partnerships, and Non‑profits
- Detail‑oriented, possess excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Experience with CCH Axcess, CCH Workflow, Holistiplan (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
