Job Details
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the tax planning process for high net worth individuals (HNW) and corporations.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and S Corps.
- Provide strategic advice related to 1031 exchanges and wealth management.
- Liaise with the IRS and other regulatory bodies on behalf of our clients.
- Conduct comprehensive income tax planning for clients.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on gift tax matters.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated financial solutions for clients.
- Keep abreast of the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide current advice.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and expert financial advice.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in the accounting and finance industry.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Proven experience with 1031 exchanges, tax planning, federal and state tax, income tax preparation, gift tax, S Corp, tax returns, and corporate tax returns.
- Extensive experience managing high net worth individual and corporate accounts.
- Proficiency in dealing with the IRS and other regulatory bodies.
- Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to providing top‑tier customer service.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
