Base pay range $45,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

ABOC is hiring a Tax Specialist . The individual in this position will serve as a tax specialist remitting, filing and maintaining various revenue regulatory reports within the Institutional Trust area.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring that all federal withholding and state withholding is remitted per payment cycle timely.
Responsible for filing regulatory reports as outlined by state and federal regulations.
Support the reconciliation and processing of various tax forms (1099R’s, 1099 INT, 1099 Misc.)
Reconcile monthly federal and state reconciliation
Coordinates delivery of tax reports for Personal Trust and various trust clients with their tax professionals.
Keeps abreast of related issues and new developments, policies and laws concerning state and federal changes affecting employee benefits through review of various publications and materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required education, experience and skills
High school diploma with a minimum of two (2) years of banking experience or a bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field (required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting functions (required)
Prior experience in banking, trust operations, or financial services (preferred)
Administrative experience with strong attention to detail and organizational skills (preferred)
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
