Supervisor – General Warehouse

The Crew Lead role supports the warehouse and distribution tasks, supervising employees and staff to maximize warehouse efficiency, supporting on-time preparation of inventory to satisfy scheduled deliveries and pickups for daily orders.
Position Tasks & Responsibilities
Supports leadership and provides direction to team members daily.
Supervises and participates in all warehouse activities such as pulling orders, loading/offloading the trucks, and restocking items.
Follows processes to ensure the correct items are loaded properly for events.
Spot check orders for quality assurance
Support leadership in assuring daily administrative tasks and paperwork are completed
Follows and executes communication from the sales staff for details and last-minute changes to jobs or events.
Supports the efficiency of the return process, including the processing and re-stocking rental items into inventory.
Assists with assuring that all inventory, machinery, and rental products are maintained in a safe and clean condition for operation.
Complies with all government safety requirements and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Assists with coordination of tent and product movement and storage systems.
Assists with improving operations.

Leadership Responsibilities
Demonstrates leadership and provides clear direction to employees daily.
Effectively manages the necessary number of labor hours needed for jobs.
Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks.
Ensure checklists are disbursed and filled out properly by crew members to ensure all items are correct.
Supervises timely completion of all returns of inventory to warehouse
Often work in indoor environments that do not have heat or air conditioning, such as a warehouse.
May occasionally work in outdoors, in weather conditions such as heat, cold, sun or rain.
Often wear safety attire when in the warehouse, such as vests, masks, gloves, etc.
May work in close proximity to other people, such as when sharing or entering office space.
May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.
Hours worked/scheduled generally more than 40 hours per week; additional hours may be required or scheduled as needed.
Work may be across seven (7) days a week based on event; on-call availability may also be required when events are booked at a moment’s notice.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
1 year of supervisory/lead experience in warehouse or delivery roles.
Position will involve driving trucks; must be able to provide a valid Driver’s License and a clean DMV record without major infractions (DUI’s, suspensions, etc.)
Able to pass a background check, DOT pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Experience
Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
Technical ability; experience with Computers and software knowledge.
Rental software or Warehouse management system knowledge and experience.
Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel knowledge and experience.
Distribution/Warehouse Experience
Bi-lingual/ability to speak Spanish.
Forklift/Warehouse Equipment Experience
Often work in indoor environments that do not have heat or air conditioning, such as a warehouse.
May occasionally work outdoors, in weather conditions such as heat, cold, sun or rain.
Often wears safety attire such as safety vests
Must be able to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. consistently; up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
Works in close proximity to people, such as in company vehicles/trucks or sharing office space.
May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.
May be on feet up to entire shift duration
