Job Overview

HB Tree Trimming & Tree Removal is looking for an experienced, motivated Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations. This is a leadership position for someone who can manage crews, meet with customers, keep our schedule full, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily field operations.
• Meet with crews each morning to assign jobs, review safety procedures, and ensure everyone has the equipment they need.
• Conduct customer estimates and prepare accurate bids.
• Build customer relationships and close sales.
• Schedule jobs to maximize crew productivity and keep the calendar full.
• Coordinate with customers regarding scheduling and project updates.
• Ensure every job is completed safely, on time, and to company standards.
• Visit active job sites for quality control and problem solving.
• Complete contracts and collect signed paperwork from customers.
• Manage employee performance, accountability, and communication.
• Coordinate equipment, trucks, trailers, and materials needed for each job.
• Work closely with ownership to improve efficiency and grow the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in the tree service, landscaping, or construction industry preferred.
• Leadership and management experience required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to estimate jobs and confidently sell services.
• Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.

• $70,000–$100,000 base salary (depending on experience in Northern California)
