Job Description
Project Overview One of TEKsystems’ leading enterprise financial services clients is seeking a Technical Project Manager for an initial 6‑month contract. This role supports a high‑impact service integration and mapping initiative within a newly formed product team, bringing structure, clarity, and delivery discipline to a complex, enterprise‑wide program. Key Responsibilities Develop and own a comprehensive project roadmap, including milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
Establish governance frameworks, reporting cadence, and stakeholder alignment. Track progress, manage risks and issues, and provide clear status reporting. Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives) and drive delivery using Scrum and sprint‑based methodologies.
Manage backlogs in Jira and maintain documentation in Confluence. Understand and translate complex service relationships across infrastructure layers (network, application, cloud). Support service integration and dependency mapping across systems.
Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early in the lifecycle. Provide structure and best practices within a growing product team. Introduce and reinforce SDLC and Agile delivery standards.
Enable strong collaboration across cross‑functional teams. Act as the primary point of contact for project delivery updates. Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Drive alignment and manage expectations across multiple teams. Required Qualifications Experience as a software developer, technical practitioner, or technical Business Analyst transitioning into project management. Demonstrated success delivering complex technical initiatives.
Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills. Hands‑on experience with Scrum and Agile frameworks. Ability to operate in a hybrid Project Manager / Scrum Master role.
Proficiency with Jira (backlog and sprint management). Experience using Confluence for documentation and collaboration. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven ability to proactively identify risks and drive solutions. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience with service mapping, observability, or APM tools. Familiarity with graph databases or complex data relationships.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS). Experience within large enterprise or financial services environments. Background working with early‑stage product teams or build environments.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $80.00 – $90.00 per hour. Workplace Type Hybrid position in Scarborough, ON.
